About Nokhbagan Institute of Higher Education
Nokhbagan Institute of Higher Education is one of the leading higher education institutes in Afghanistan in terms of infrastructure. It was established in 2017 and currently opened to applicants with 4 main disciplines and various departments. Nokhbagan serves under the Khana-e-Noor Educational Network (KEN) administration. It is located in Mazar-e-Sharif, a northern province of Afghanistan. Nokhbagan aims to educate students with national values imbedded with modern system of education. It is vision is to be a research oriented and national standing university.
Qualification: A minimum of Master’s degree candidates will be preferred.
Experience: minimum 3 years (as an VC Admin) in any national or international organization.
Nationality: National or International (Afghan national will be preferred)
Language: Dari, Pashto and English (Speaking, Writing and Comprehension)
Communication skills: Good communication skills in Dari, Pashto and English)
Computer skills: (Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Internet)
Competencies and personal characteristics: Inter-personal skills, Leadership qualities, Problem Solving skills and Analytical skills.
The VC Admin should have the following responsibilities;
Assist the Chancellor in the overall planning, organizing, and controlling of the University’s administration areas.
Supervise the University’s administration team in successful running of the University.
Assist the University staff and students in their administration issues.
Lead and motivate administrative staff by orienting, coaching and training employees to provide a good customer service to students, faculties and staff.
Accomplishes staff results by communicating, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Provides supplies by identifying needs for reception, faculties, security and hostel.
Completes special projects such as graduation, debates and other university programs by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
Improves service quality by devising new plans; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.
Maintains continuity among different administration work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
Supervises the reception, security, and hostel in evaluating and approving their recommendations for good administration.
Supervises budget preparation for the administration and related programs, allocation and resources to and from these programs.
Perform the duties related to vice chancellor in his absence.
Lead and organize all internal administration meetings.
