Position title: Cluster Supervisor
Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. Supervise the whole activities carryout in the health facilities of related cluster.
Ensure the diagnosis, treatment of the patient done according to the national treatment guidelines.
Ensure that all registration & medical records system follows according to the guidelines.
In cooperation with the project manager oversee the planning & implementation of mobile health team in the relevant area.
Provide on the job training to staff of health facilities to staff of health facility in defined cluster.
Ensure quality in projects & program through feedback mechanism.
Ensure that the cost recovery system is being implemented according to the policy and procedure.
Prepare monthly/quarterly, semiannual, annual, end of project and … activity report.
Give advice and support to the project & to the program staff in related tasks.
Maintain close working relation with key players, MoPH, NGOs & UN agencies in the target area.
Supports & supervise the head of the clinics in the overall running of the clinics.
Support & supervise the doctors & ensure that the protocols are followed.
Consultation with the head of the health facility and other medical staff on their difficult and serious cases.
Provide job awareness and on the job training for new medical staff working in facilities.
Supervise the sanitation and hygiene in the clinics, particularly the waste disposal systems.
Report any early indication of an epidemics or public health problem.
Ensure that drug utilization and consumption is based on the treatment guideline.

INTRODUCTION: Afghan Youth Service Organization (AYSO) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. It came into existence in March 2003 by the name of Afghan Youth Foundation (AYF) under the spirit to enable Afhgnas to help themselves in meeting their future requirements. Later during the year 2006 based on the board decision, its name was changed to Afghan Youth Service Organization (AYSO). In May 2014 some members of directorate board and management team were changed and strong team with new spirit began its activities as a result was able to get part in BPHS (SEHAT-II) implementation with partnership of AADA in Takhar province. AYSO renders services neutrally for health, education, rehabilitation, and development of war torn country Afghanistan. To get access to the solution of problems throughout the country, the entire organization is willing to increase and set up regional offices in other parts of the country as and when required. The organization will assist Afghans by provision of services and training in the fields of health care in the BPHS/EPHS programs of MoPH, emergency releive, income generation, education, women and Children developmental Programs.
Qualification and Scope of Work:
The Mental Health officer must have the qualification of MD diploma holder and with experiences of Mental Health and the ability for the implementation and use of Mental Health formats in AYSO project Health Facilities, provide technical training to the project supervisors. In addition, he is responsible for the planning, organizing, printing, packing, and distribution of Mental Health format supplies to the health facilities.
The Mental Health officer is Responsible for
Performs supervisory visits from Health Facilities at least 10-15th times/month. Ensure smooth implementation of mental health and disability programs are in place in all health facilities. Maintain the channel of reporting system track between AYSO Health Facilities and offices. Coordinate all mental health &disability activities are in place and track the objectives Recognize gaps and conduct TNA regarding the mental health & disability program in Health Facilities. Establish and keep active the supporting groups in Health Facilities and community level for better follow up, referral, and management of mental health and disability cases. To prepare field reports (monitoring, reporting, and basic refresher training) and submit to Line Manager, to supervise Health Facilities and provide technical support to technical staff regularly. Analyze the technical report and provide regular feedback to the Line Manager on the quality and quantity of performance. To compile, process and analyze monthly programmed data to assess the progress of the project and to help to identify areas where to focus with limited resources. Ensure that the mental health and disability reporting system is in place. Position title: TB Provincial Focal Point
The Medical Management and Research Courses Afghanistan (MMRC-A) is a national, non-for profit, non-political, humanitarian organization established in March 2008 by Afghan Health professionals and is registered as an NGO with the ministry of economy (MoE) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
MMRCA has been implementing SEHATMANDI (BPHS+EPHS) Project in Badghis province since 1st January 2019. MMRCA has been providing quality health services to the entire population of Badghis Province according to BPHS and EPHS guidelines and MoPH policies/strategies. These services are providing through one Provincial Hospital (PH), one DH, and 4-CHCs, 19 BHCs, 20 PHCs, one MHT, one Prison Health Center, 3 FHHs and 311 HPs.
MMRCA has awarded contract with United Nation Development Program hereinafter referred as (UNDP) for implementation of TB RSSH grant in 4 provinces (Kandahar, Helmand, Urozgan and Zabul) of Afghanistan effected from 1st March, 2019 till end of 2020 and it will be extendable.
In order to fill the required vacant position MMRCA invites and encourage eligible candidates to apply for the position of TB Provincial Focal Point located in Kandahar Province.
To assist in preparation of TB intervention activities in order to provide better guidance for implementation of active case finding among project activities in the provincial level. Develop and maintains the appropriate network with PTC and PLS of province and other partners. Strengthen and develop joint planning, implementation and follow up of TB Intervention activities with PTC and PLS in the provincial level. Coordinate TB Intervention project’s activities with PTC and PLS of province and other partners. Strengthen recording, reporting and referral system through using standardized NTP formats. Conduct necessary TB Training through close coordination with PTC and PLS of province. Conduct regular joint supervision, M&E to find active cases in the provincial level. Assist the PTC and PLS of province and other partner to prepare the relevant data analysis and reports on monthly, quarterly and annually basis. To assist the TB intervention activities coordination and organizing of meeting with PTC and PLS of province and other partner. To prepare field reports (Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation, reporting and basic refresher training) and submit to Line Manager. Analyze the project reports and provide regular feedback to the Line Manager on the quality and quantity of performance. Afghanistan National Health Technical Assistance Program (NHTAP) is designed to target policy, mid-level and service delivery agents with a range of technical activities to strengthen care seeking, access to and quality of health and nutrition interventions. The Center for International Education (CIE) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) in collaboration with the Management Science for Health, Inc. (MSH) and Kabul University of Medical Sciences (KUMS) strive to enhance adoption of optimal health and nutrition behaviors by providing expertise in the area of literacy/health literacy accelerated learning and community-based education. Building on the successes of the earlier Learning for Life Project and similar work, NHTAP will work with stakeholders to identify and assist in the development of local learning centers to engage with communities and provide training. NHTAP will recruit and train local facilitators to ensure that literacy classes complement training for health workers and community midwives, will develop and deliver training activities, and will provide support and mentoring to facilitators and Provincial Managers
The Senior Field Manager will serve as a senior representative of CIE/UMass in the field and provide oversight, monitoring and mentoring to the MSH Cooperating Country Nationals assigned to this position. While the Senior Field Manager will report directly to the Project Manager at CIE/UMass, s/he will be part of the MSH team. It is a full time benefited position with an initial one year duration.
