In Afghanistan, Equal Access has a proven record of implementing on-the-ground programming involving a range of community actors. In the south and east of Afghanistan, we have consistently involved women as listening circle participants. Our programming and work is distinguished by its linguistic, ethnic and geographical reach and diversity. We are looking to hire a Reporting Specialist ( see detailed needs bellow) .
Description of Assignment:
Participant in meetings and prepare minutes of the meeting.
· Writing and editing of the Equal Access Afghanistan project Report.
Assist in project implementation and any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Line of Reporting:
· EAA Program Manager & EAA Country Director.
· EAA Program Manager, Country Director, Senior Management Team and HQ Program Backstops.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Writing and editing program/project reports for internal and external use. This may include brief documents to more expansive works.
Producing weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, meeting and events reports.
Review and edit the field reports/feedback and other information used in the reports.
Check the accuracy of the data and information used in the reports and analyze the information for reporting purposes.
Any other reporting and information related task as assigned by direct supervisor.
Participate in donor meetings and prepare minutes of meetings.
Any other task assigned by Supervisor
A minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and Mater degree will be preferred.
Five years of experience in report writing.
Experience in report writing, translation of field reports and incorporate them in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
Excellent English writing skills with fluency in speaking of Dari/ Pashtu.
Must be able to function effectively in a fluid, loosely structured, but complex work environment and to set appropriate priorities and deal effectively with numerous simultaneous requirements
